Grape: Moschofilero

• George Skouras trained in wine in Dijon, France and furthered his experience in Italy before starting Domaine Skouras in his Grecian home town in 1986.
• The vineyards are located North of Tripoli in an area known as Mantineia. Mountains surround it, making it one of the coldest regions in Greece. This helps maintain the grapes acidity along with the contribution of the older vines, which average 32 years.
• Moscofilero is an indigenous pink skin grape of Greece. It shares some traits with Viognier, found in southern France and known for its floral and aromatic qualities.
