From the Kindzmarauli microzone in Kakheti—set along the Alazani River with alluvial and slate-rich soils—this wine is made from 100% Saperavi. Unlike most reds, Kindzmarauli is produced in an off-dry style, with fermentation stopped early to retain natural grape sugars. Saperavi, a teinturier grape with deeply pigmented skins and pulp, delivers intense color and structure even in this softer expression.
