2022 Teliani Valley Amber Blend – Kakheti, Georgia – 12.5% ABV
This traditional Georgian amber wine is fermented on grape skins in qvevri—large clay vessels buried underground—an ancient technique dating back over 8,000 years. The extended skin contact gives the wine its deep color and complex tannic structure. Flavors of dried apricot, tea leaf, and honeyed spice unfold with a savory, almost oxidative edge.
