2022 Salvano Barbera d’Alba Superiore ‘Maestrale’
Salvano’s Maestrale is a powerful yet polished expression of Barbera from Alba. The 2022 vintage shows vibrant aromas of blackberry, plum, and violet, framed by notes of vanilla and spice from careful oak aging. On the palate, it is full-bodied and silky, with Barbera’s hallmark freshness balancing ripe dark fruit and supple tannins. The finish is long and harmonious, making this wine both approachable now and capable of rewarding short-term cellaring.
