Sourced from certified old bush vines in the Paarl region, this Chenin Blanc reflects both age and site, with deep root systems contributing concentration and natural balance. Grown on decomposed granite and shale soils, the fruit benefits from warm days and cooling afternoon breezes. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel and older oak, with time on lees adding texture without overt oak influence. The wine shows quince, pear, and citrus layered with subtle honeyed notes and a mineral backbone, finishing with bright acidity and length.
