2019 Ebner-Ebenauer ‘Alte Reben’ Reserve Grüner Veltliner – Weinviertel, Austria – 13.5% ABV
Made from old vines (“Alte Reben”), this reserve bottling showcases the concentration and complexity that mature vineyards can deliver. The fruit is harvested at optimal ripeness and often sees extended time on the lees, building a broader, more textural palate. Expect baked pear, golden apple, and subtle spice layered over Grüner’s classic peppery lift. Rich yet balanced, this wine highlights the grape’s ability to age and evolve.
