grapes: 85% Pinot Noir 15% Chardonnay

• This winery has been making lovely Piedmontese styles including bubbles since 1878 in Alta Langa, located south east of Alba (for all you geography nerds like us…). It is the oldest active winery in Roero. 
• ‘Oudeis’ is from the Greek “Odysseus” and means “no one.” This pays homage to the importance of terroir or sense of place and its expression in the glass. 
• This Traditional Method/Champagne Method sparkling wine is aged for 32 months on the lees creating some richness or ‘biscuity,’ qualities to the wine. Traditional method bubbles HAVE to be aged at least 9 months. Can you smell that fresh bread?
